Damit ist die Vorlage angenommen und das „Transsexuellengesetz“ (TSG) kann abgeschafft werden.

Ab dem 1. November 2024 ist eine Änderung des Geschlechtseintrags und des Vornamens nur noch durch Selbstanzeige beim Standesamt möglich.

The very first version of the guide was an idea developed together with Queermed Austria.

Since then, Queermed Germany has expanded and revised the guide on its website several times. Due to increased requests from doctors and therapists, Queermed founder Sara Grzybek has overhauled the guide in recent months and it is now available as a PDF and a print version.

Social and legal counsellors and activists from Oldenburg and the surrounding area have founded a nationwide online counselling service for refugees in Kurdish, English, German and Turkish.
