"Very great. I had/have breast cancer and my request for a bilateral mastectomy due to trans identity was accepted immediately without hesitation, surprise or unnecessary questions. I was asked for pronouns at the time and this was noted in my patient file. As a result, almost all doctors and many nurses, both outpatients and inpatients, some of whom I had never met before, addressed me correctly. I didn't have to say or do anything else. And that even though I am still pre-transition! I was rarely misgendered, and sometimes they even corrected and apologised. And everyone was very kind to me across the board."
