"This practice doesn't pay much attention to gender-neutral wording, but I am there with my wife as a patient and we have been treated "normally" from the beginning and have also felt comfortable. I'm currently pregnant and my wife is allowed to be there for all exams as a matter of course and we've never felt weird about being a married female couple."
