"Medical history and examination forms were not gender-neutral. My pronouns and desired form of address (first name surname instead of Mr./Mrs. surname) were accepted, even if not by all staff members (especially the senior physician continued to use the opposite gender form of address). Staff members were aware that they were not yet very well informed about gender neutrality, but asked respectful questions. The doctor's letter could not be filled out in a completely gender-neutral way; unfortunately, the pronouns were used in the opposite gender instead of the names.
