Comments
"The appointment was booked online. The communication with the practice staff was fine so far, the medical history form and the practice in general rather basic / oldschool. On the other hand, the contact with and the examination and counselling by the doctor were extremely respectful, friendly and open. As a gay cis man, I felt safe, understood and taken seriously. I have no experience with the other two doctors (old, white, male), but made an appointment with the female doctor on purpose. That's why I only recommend her personally and not the practice in general or her colleagues." | "The scope was respectful. The change to my gender and name was accepted without comment or problems and I was consistently gendered correctly. Going to the urology department as a pre-op trans woman is extremely uncomfortable for me. Mrs Haberecht was very empathetic, took a lot of time and used sensitive language. (For example, the question right at the beginning: Is it okay to call the body parts organically correct or should I use other terms so that they feel more comfortable). She wears a button that invites her to be herself and has both the rainbow and the trans flag. I felt like she really cared about helping me with my not-so-easy problem. She was very careful during the physical examination and clarified exactly what was okay for me and what was not."
