"My first visit to the practice was immediately after my gender reassignment surgery. I didn't know what to expect, there was no prior recommendation. And I was really welcomed in the friendliest way imaginable by all (!) the staff and the doctor. I later learnt that I was the first trans woman in the practice. Everyone working there is very respectful, compassionate in a positive sense, accommodating and professionally excellent. My self-chosen pronoun was always used normally by everyone. As far as I could see, the examination forms were formulated in a gender-neutral way."
