‘The tone in the practice was friendly. Dr. Plätzer asked me how I would like to be addressed and was familiar with the topic of trans* identities. I was given very detailed information in advance about possible treatments and examinations, as well as how they would be carried out, and was then able to decide whether I wanted them or not. During the examination, Dr. Plätzer was very careful and sensitive. The questionnaire was gender-neutral.’
