‘The direct contact was very respectful and after the initial conversation, my pronouns were noted and used. I haven't had any issues for a long time, I can't remember.’ / ‘She was familiar with the typical effects of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and explained them to me in detail and put them into context.’ | "At my request, they refrained from using female/male pronouns when addressing me. The dental medical history form was gender-neutral (including the question about possible pregnancy). The staff at reception and in the treatment room were very friendly and sensitive to pain. In general, they took a lot of time and asked questions (if at all) in a very respectful and relaxed manner when people were unsure about how to address my gender (trans*masculine non-binary) (e.g. before the X-ray, they asked again if I could be pregnant and addressed any uncertainties about whether the question was okay for me in a direct and humorous but respectful manner)."
