"As the practice is right next to a dentist's office, the receptionist asked me carefully if I was sure I wanted to see a gynaecologist and not a dentist (read male). When I said it was okay, I was trans, it was cleared up for her. It was also pleasant that the waiting room was separate, so that this dialogue could not be overheard by everyone waiting. The doctor himself gave me the pleasant feeling that there was nothing unusual about me."
