"Asked on the phone when making the appointment that the correct pronouns and names be used (and that deadname on the insurance card is different). Received a very friendly reception. On site at the first appointment we (accompanying person was present) were received very kindly and treated with respect throughout. The correct name was entered directly into the patient file and the dead name did not have to be used on the registration forms either. Dr Yavus is very empathetic and asks if there are any specific fears. She takes a lot of time and explains every step before and during the treatment. She has also addressed the issue of hormonal gender reassignment and possible associated gum problems. The practice staff are also extremely friendly and empathetic. All the staff at the practice obviously do their work very conscientiously and with pleasure, and they are also very friendly and empathetic. As a trans* person, you are addressed and treated respectfully and appropriately here."
