"The staff were very friendly, especially after I told them that I'd never had a gynaecological examination before and was anxious about it. The questionnaire (on my first visit 2 years ago) hardly gave you the option to tick that you are not sexually active, but there was no pressure at all during the consultation! The doctor was understanding and relaxed about asexuality, didn't put any pressure on me and asked questions very carefully. My identity was not questioned and I didn't have to explain anything. The check-up, which I was very afraid of, went quickly and was not at all bad because Dr Carl was so calm and announced what was going to happen. I felt like I was in good hands!"
