"After I came out, Dr. Wurm immediately asked me about my pronouns and how she should address me. Since then, she has always called me by my first and last name in the waiting room and taken into account that I do not use pronouns. After my official name/gender change, the MFAs immediately scanned my health insurance card without any further/unpleasant comments and did not complain when there were initial problems with the change in the system. Before the name/gender change, I did not come out at the practice, as I am always fundamentally afraid of doing so. Therefore, I cannot judge how they would treat me without an official change, but I would assume it would be good. Otherwise, they always treat me with respect and appreciation. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the medical history form. The website uses gender-neutral language in some places. As a young, chronically ill and neurodivergent person, I feel very well cared for at the practice. Dr Wurm listens attentively and was also very receptive when I told her about inappropriate behaviour by a therapist; she was the only professional I immediately confided in here. "
