"Ms Heinz is certainly not informed about all aspects of queer and transgender life. However, what I noticed during the treatment with her was that she was always respectful and also very interested in the political situation. During/before the laser treatment, there is a lot of small talk if necessary. It can happen that questions are asked that are not quite appropriate, but not in a way that seems disrespectful - but rather out of this naïve, uninformed interest (which is quite exhausting for many trans people, yes, that is worth mentioning). I also openly told her what I thought of the legal situation in Germany. She was absolutely shocked about many of these things. When I casually told her about §45b PtSg, she was quite enthusiastic and asked of her own accord if she could issue such a certificate for me and that she would be willing to do so at any time, which she then did free of charge." / "I was informed quite honestly that the laser treatment is not adequately remunerated by the health insurance. However, this information primarily served to inform me that only very short sessions are paid for. This is probably why they are in such a hurry to do the lasering - but that didn't bother me. In the meantime, I hardly have any facial hair."
